2000 years ago, the world's Creator was born in a smelly shepherd's cave, a stable that housed several animals. Yet, from this humble start, He would be the King of kings... the One who had made all past, present, and future world leaders who might or might not acknowledge Him. And then, this baby in the manger would grow up for the set purpose of dying for people out of love – the kind of selfless love that he would teach them about on His way there. It's no wonder we sing songs like, "Joy to the World" this time of year! Sometimes though, like Charlie Brown, it sure is easy to forget "what Christmas is (really) all about." Hopefully, we'll have someone like Linus around to kindly set the record straight...
