Perhaps you've heard pastors use the common phrase, "More is caught than is taught."  Well, something just occurred at my house to underscore that truth to me regarding how I live in front of my kids. Joey, my 19 month old little boy, saw me shaving for the very first time the other day, and what ensued in the tub that night I captured on film... involving his "Elmo soap."  Obviously, as parents, how we live is crucial to our children and their development.

I pray that my kids will grow up into loving, compassionate, serving, godly folks, because God enabled me to model that kind of character before them.  Heck, that kind of stuff is just the natural "fruit of His Spirit" (Gal. 5:22-23), right?
